PRIVACY POLICY

Boptron is a free browser-based music studio. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run your account, save your beats and sync your game progress. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not embed third-party trackers.
ACCOUNT DATA
If you create an account we store your email, your username and a one-way hash of your password (never the password itself, and never in plain text). Alongside it we store what you choose to save in the cloud: your projects and beats, your game progress (XP, coins and missions) and your community activity (comments and likes). You can use Boptron fully as a guest without an account.
DATA ON YOUR DEVICE
Some data stays only in your browser (localStorage) and never reaches our servers unless you sign in and save: your local projects, your settings and any coins earned as a guest. Clearing your browser storage removes it.
MICROPHONE & RECORDINGS
The sampler can record from your microphone. Recording is processed on your device — recorded samples only leave it if you choose to save them to the cloud or share a beat that uses them. We never listen in the background.
AI & EMAIL
When you use the generative AI, the prompts and patterns you send are forwarded to our AI provider (MiniMax) to produce the result. Transactional emails (like a welcome message) are sent through Resend. These providers process only what is needed to deliver the feature.
NO ADS · NO SELLING · NO TRACKERS
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, we show no advertising, and we do not embed third-party advertising or analytics trackers. Your beats are yours.
YOUR RIGHTS
You can access your data and delete it. You can erase your account and everything tied to it at any time from inside the app — open the CUENTA panel and use DELETE ACCOUNT; this permanently removes your account, projects, progress and community activity.
